Wait Patiently or Rush Independently?

This week was a celebration of the signing of the Declaration of Independence in 1776. When first signed, it was either an act of treason or a birth of a nation... depending on the outcome of the war. It wasn't a hasty act; rather a decade of conversations and lawful appeals to reason... all ignored. The result? The American Revolution and the birth of the United States of America.

A very different and tragic act of reported independence happened recently. A submersible attempting to visit the sunken ship, Titanic, had a catastrophic failure, imploded and tragically killed all five passengers including the company CEO, Mr Rush.

In this episode I go unplugged, sharing what we did this week to celebrate Independence Day and also what God has been saying to me about dependence and patience... will I wait? Heads up, there is a stark contrast between patience, waiting, trusting (while doing my due diligence) vs. being independent, rushing in and going it alone.
